Architectural Render Prices in 2026: What Determines Them?

Six factors that set exterior, interior and animation prices, with 2026 market ranges.

Architectural render prices can differ up to threefold between quotes even in the same month. Most of this gap comes from a scope that is not clearly defined. We compiled the six factors that set prices in the 2026 market and their typical ranges.

1. Render type

A single exterior image at 4K typically costs ₺4,500–9,000, an interior image ₺4,000–7,500 and an aerial masterplan image ₺8,000–14,000. Detail and product images stay at ₺2,500–4,500.

2. State of the model

If a Revit or SketchUp model is ready, time and cost fall. Building a model from 2D CAD alone adds 30–60% per image.

3. Resolution

4K is enough for web and presentations. Billboards and large prints need 8K; an 8K image is about 50% more expensive because render time quadruples.

4. Delivery speed

Standard delivery is 7 working days. A 3-day fast delivery usually carries a 30–40% surcharge and a 24-hour rush 70–90%, because studio capacity is reserved and overtime is worked.

5. Complexity

Dense landscaping, crowds, hundreds of furniture items or a façade over 200 metres increase modelling and render time. Complex scenes can raise the price by 20–50%.

6. Revision rights

Two revisions are standard in packages. When revisions are not capped, projects drag on. An extra revision costs ₺600–900 per image.

Animation prices

Architectural animation costs ₺3,500–6,500 per second; a standard 60-second film is ₺200,000–300,000. The per-second price falls as duration grows.

When comparing quotes

  • Check that number of cameras, revision rights and resolution are in writing.
  • Look at sample work rather than the word 'photorealistic'.
  • Ask about licence scope (print, web, billboard).
  • Find out from which file delivery the delivery time starts.

Example budget: a 120-apartment residential project

A typical set for a boutique residential project is 6 exterior images (4K), 12 interior images (3 apartment types × 4), 2 landscape images and a 60-second animation. At 2026 market prices this comes to about 38,000 + 66,000 + 12,000 + 240,000 = ₺356,000 (excl. VAT). With a volume discount this can fall by 8–15%.

Tips to lower the cost

Bring a ready model, mark camera angles in advance, collect revision requests in a single round and keep delivery time standard where possible. These four steps cut total cost by 20% on average.
